Breathing mists may cause lung damage and/or allergic reaction.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID  PROCEDURES

Flush immediately with large quantities of running water for at least 15 minutes.  Consult physician.

INHALATION:

SKIN:

Wash affected areas with soap and water.  Remove contaminated clothing.

 

SECTION VII: PRECAUTIONS FOR  SAFE HANDLING AND USE

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE LARGE AMOUNTS ARE RELEASED:

Remove with inert absorbent.  Flush remaining material with water.  Decontaminate with dilute aqueous ammonium thiosulfate.  Before attempting clean-up, refer to hazard caution information in other sections of this sheet.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:

Dispose in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.  Incinerate in approved facility.  Do not incinerate in closed containers.  While discarded product is not a hazardous waste under RCRA Regulations (40 CFR 261), untreated material should not be released to be environment.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORAGE:

Warning:  Avoid contact.  Very irritating to eyes.  Contact with skin may be harmful.  Mist generated from spray application may be harmful if inhaled.  Chemicals similar in structure to CX-100 have been found to cause cancer in laboratory animals.  To protect yourself you must wear safety goggles, impervious gloves, and protective clothes while handling this material.  You must wear a respirator during spray operations.

OTHER PRECAUTIONS:

Store in a cool, dry place.  Do not puncture containers or expose product to moisture.
