SECTION VI: HEALTH HAZARD DATA

ROUTES OF ENTRY & HEALTH  HAZARDS (ACUTE AND CHRONIC)

INGESTION:  

No hazard expected in normal use.

EYES:                  

Direct contact may be moderately irritating.  May cause tearing, reddening and/or swelling.

INHALATION:       

Slightly irritating.  May cause respiratory sensitization with prolonged or repeated exposure to vapors or mists.

SKIN:

Mild to moderately irritating.  May cause tearing, reddening and/or swelling.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID  PROCEDURES

INGESTION:

If swallowed, get medical attention immediately.  Only induce vomiting if directed by a physician.  Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

EYES:

Immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes.  The eyelids must be held open and away from the eyeball to ensure that all surfaces are flushed thoroughly.  Consult physician.

INHALATION:

Remove to fresh air.  If not breathing give CPR.  If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.  Get immediate medical attention.

SKIN:

Wash affected areas with soap and water.  Remove contaminated clothing.  Obtain medical attention immediately if symptoms occur.  Wash clothing before reuse.
