Acute exposure may cause irritation.  Fumes emitted during fusion may aggravate an existing respiratory tract ailment.

SKIN:

Acute exposure may cause irritation.  May aggravate an existing dermatitis.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID  PROCEDURES

INGESTION:

EYES:

In case of eye contact, remove excess material with cloth or absorbent paper, then rinse out eye with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes.  If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

INHALATION:

In case of excessive inhalation of fumes, remove to fresh air.

SKIN:

Incase of skin contact, remove excess material with cloth or absorbent paper, then wash with soap and water.

 

SECTION VII: PRECAUTIONS FOR  SAFE HANDLING AND USE

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE LARGE AMOUNTS ARE RELEASED:

Scoop into drums, absorb remainder on inert filler. 

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:

Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORAGE:

Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.  Although hazard, this product should not be stored in direct sunlight or temperatures exceeding 110°F.

OTHER PRECAUTIONS:

Never use pressure to empty drums or other shipping containers-they are not pressure vessels.  Do not weld or flame-cut empty drums.  Drums must not be reused for other purposes.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION:

Not required with adequate ventilation.  In restricted ventilation areas wear approved chemical/mechanical filters to remove fumes or mist.

VENTILATION:

Exhaust system should be sufficient to remove vapors emitted during fusion.

Use neoprene or vinyl gloves, protective clothing if skin contact is likely.
